Questions we hear
Do I need a card to start the trial?
No. Create an account with your email and use BUNEXA free for 14 days. Nothing is charged automatically.
Can customers pay by M-Pesa?
Yes. Connect your own Safaricom Daraja account and the till sends a PIN prompt to the customer's phone, then confirms the payment. Cards work through Pesapal. You can also record cash and manual payments.
Does it work with KRA eTIMS?
VAT and tax invoices are built in, and your KRA PIN prints on receipts. A direct eTIMS connection is in progress and needs KRA certification before it can be used live. Talk to us about your timelines.
What happens when the internet goes down?
The till keeps working on any device that has been online recently. You can scan, sell, give discounts within your limit, take cash or record M-Pesa and card payments, and print receipts. Sales are saved on the device and sent by themselves when the connection returns. Promotions, loyalty points and sending M-Pesa prompts need a connection.
Can I run more than one shop?
Yes. Branches share one account, with stock and sales tracked for each. The number of branches depends on your plan.
Can I bring in my existing products?
Yes. Import products and expenses from a spreadsheet. If you are moving from another system, we can help.
Who can see my data?
Only the people you give access to. Each business's data is kept secure, and actions are recorded in an audit trail. You can ask for a full export of your data.
Is there an AI assistant?
An optional assistant can explain your numbers in plain language. It is off until you switch it on, it can only read what the person asking is allowed to see, and it never changes your records.
